Predictions Recap :: Summer/Fall

Prediction Recap: Summer/Fall 2009

(11) ESPN will act as if they thought the Cowboys were legit all along.
Sure enough, they've jumped from 17th into the top ten area.  Everyone's a Cowboy hater, or lover.  But now it's a case of, "wait and see what Romo does in December."  Playing 4 of 5 games against the league's toughest teams won't help that case.

(12) Eli won't look so hot without top receivers, and the Giants will fall soon.
At first, I ate my words when the Giants went 5-0.  But then they went 1-5.  I didn't think it would take that long for it to happen -- but at least it did.  And ESPN had the Cowboys at 3rd in the division to finish the season.

(13) England will qualify for '10, but will lose a superstar to injury.
Well, they qualified with ease -- but didn't lose a superstar to injury (yet).  Nothing major, anyway.  Against Brazil in their latest friendly, England did play without seven of their starters -- Gerrard, Terry, Ferdinand, Lampard, Cole, etc.

(14) Hotspur and Man City will contend for the top 5 in the EPL.
Wow!  Are they ever!  Top 4 finishers?

(15) Maybe people will start to realize Cutler isn't that good.
He's thrown the most interceptions in the league and the Bears aren't even going to compete for the Wild Card.  Looks like we were 5 for 5 this time.
